Connecting rods connect your engine’s pistons to the crankshaft. Replacing your connecting rods doesn’t necessarily add horsepower, however they are essential for maintaining horsepower. If your are looking to boost your car and make high numbers of power, we strongly recommend replacing your OEM connecting rods with a stronger aftermarket setup.
